Stocky Anthias (Pseudanthias hypselosoma)

The Stocky Anthias is a robust and deep-bodied anthias species, known for its striking blend of pink, orange, and yellow hues. Native to the Indo-Pacific, this species thrives in groups and displays the characteristic haremic social structure, with a dominant male overseeing a group of females. Like other anthias, females have the ability to transition into males if the dominant male is lost.

Unlike some of the more delicate anthias species, the Stocky Anthias is hardier and more adaptable, making it an excellent choice for retailers looking to offer a visually stunning but relatively easy-to-care-for anthias.
